Mandy & Marc married at DeLille Cellars

We met over coffee and jumped right into planning their wedding!

We started with searching for the perfect venue. Our priorities were ceremony outside, garden options and and an indoor back up plan.

Marc & Mandy selected DeLille Cellars in Woodinville, one of my utmost favorite locations in the Seattle area.

We wanted the wedding to be bright & cheerful – so Mandy selected yellow, teal and some pops of red for her wedding colors.

It rained that day, but you would never know…

It sprinkled and rained, but stopped right at 2:30. Just in time for us to set up the chairs, ceremony flowers and get ready for a wedding by 4:00.

Cocktail hour was outside by the gazebo and pond

Could this be a more perfect setting for dinner?

Chocolate Chocolate Cake!!!!

What a perfect way to end the day!

One of my favorite pictures from last year!

Kylee & Steven are hitched!

Kylee and Steven are the sweetest! They met when they were toddlers, yes toddlers! They even have pictures to prove it. Their wedding was absolutely amazing, with their closest friends and family joining to celebrate their marriage to each other.

I cannot believe that they are just about to celebrate their one year anniversary. They are currently in the process of building their first home – how exciting!

They were married at their home church in Puyallup with the reception following at Kelley Farm. What a great location for a large reception – the weather was fantastic! You would not believe that this wedding took place in April -

The details to their wedding were over the top and still one of my favorite wedding days from last year.

Kelley Farm is a great location for a large wedding reception, we welcomed over 345 people to the barn. We brought to life Kylee’s dream of a vintage, romantic and hand-crafted wedding for her guests. We brought in lace linens, hung chandeliers from the barns ceiling, collected old books & bibles and covered the tables with ball jars and mercury glass.

The bulls – one of my favorite aspects about Kelley Farm. They are REAL and friendly, the bulls will come over and visit with your guests while they enjoy cocktails on the outdoor patio. Quite the entertainment for the kiddos, as well as the adults.

One of my favorite cakes – note the handmade “book page” wreath and baby pictures in the background.

The bouquet was a collection of soft white florals, with the most charming brooch of Kylee’s grandmother and her favorite family pet. She also collected brooches from family & friends to add to her bouquet, which added the perfect detail to her wedding bouquet.

Each place setting was collected and placed on beautiful linen napkins, placed next to one of their favors: a small jar of honey!

What a great day and beautiful evening – thank you for letting us celebrate the day with you Kylee & Steven! Here are the vendors that made their day seamless:

Jenevive & Tyson are hitched!

Posted by Holly-Kate Foss

I met Jenevive and Tyson last September, we planned for coffee and ended up drinking coffee & cupcakes together. Yum! Tyson had just bought a house in Ballard and Jen was new to the area. She had just started a new job and a co-worker invited her to a friends open house. Little did Jen know, she was about to meet one of the nicest guys in Seattle – Tyson! They dated, they hiked, dined and danced and soon decided to tie the knot!

Thank you to Kirk Mastin of Seattle wedding photographer Kirk Mastin of Mastin Studio for sharing their pictures with us.

Jenevive’s dress is a handmade custom dress from a family friend in the Philippines. It is one of the most beautiful dresses that I have ever seen! Tyson and Jen exchanged gift on their wedding day, Tyson gave Jen a gorgeous Tiffany & Co. necklace to celebrate their wedding.

Jen & Tyson used yellows & greens with pops of pink throughout their wedding. They wanted that classic, bright and cheerful look with a slight Seattle modern edge. They had many friends traveling from all over to join them in Seattle and we knew we wanted to share with them some of the northwest. We used letter pressed wooden invitations, modern flowers, incorporated as many sparkly items as we could while still presenting the northwest to the guests. Jenevive’s parents own a company that creates handmade crystals, we used these throughout the flower bouquets and the reception.

The wedding party took pictures at Freeway Park in downtown Seattle – perfect fit for their slightly urban taste for their wedding.

Their wedding ceremony took place at Immaculate Conception Church. To go along with her dress, she had a full cathedral length veil – it was a perfect match to one of the longest church aisles in Seattle.

The cord used in their ceremony was a family heirloom, Tyson’s grandparents used this beautiful rosary in their wedding ceremony.

After the ceremony, they were sent off with bubbles and took a drive around the Seattle area to celebrate their wedding day. A few of just Jen & Tyson – married!

On to the reception at Sodo Park, dinner & dancing. A grand entrance of all the sponsors, aunts, readers, coin bearers, cord & veil, and the wedding party.

Dinner tables had beautiful arrangements, some with sprays of white orchids, low garden arrangements, and then submerged yellow orchids as seen here. The invitations, programs, paper goods and mossy letters were created by Kerri Efendi Designs

The table cards were designed as leaves to hang from individually potted magnolia branches

The cake from Celebrity Cakes was a shimmering ivory, with handmade swirls and silver dots

Their reception was so much fun, with all of their friends and family from all over joining in the celebration. We used ivory sequence linens from Pedersens that were the perfect fit for their theme.

It was a great day, which could not have been done without the talented team listed below:

Ceremony: Immaculate Conception Church

Reception: Sodo Park by Herban Feast

Videography: cabfare productions

Wedding Planning & Design: Holly-Kate and Company

Florals: Christopher Flowers

Mandy & Marc engaged!

Posted by Holly-Kate Foss

Mandy & Marc are getting married today! I cannot believe their wedding day has finally arrived.

I met Mandy & Marc a little over a year ago, we sat in a coffee shop and started talking about wedding plans. They knew a few things at this point in the planning process: they loved each other, wanted to get married, hoping for an outdoor wedding, hosting an intimate wedding with their closest friends and family.

We looked throughout the Seattle area and then went back to Woodinville, where they selected DeLille Cellars for their wedding ceremony & reception location. This is one of my favorite outdoor locations in the greater Seattle area to have a wedding. It is beautiful, lush greenery and has everything to do with wine!

The theme for their wedding is cheerful – so we are using lots of green, yellow and reds. The food was most important for both Marc & Mandy, as Mandy is a vegetarian and we wanted to make sure their dinner selection was fresh and local. Last, they wanted their day to bring together their friends and family to celebrate.

Thank you to fabulous Barbie Hull, we are able to share their engagement pictures with you. I heard about the adventures the day they shot their pictures with Barbie, it was a cool & crisp day in Seattle with bursts of sunlight everywhere. A great day for a sweater, cute pictures and a hot cup of cocoa. Enjoy!

Congratulations Marc & Mandy!

Tiffany & Jonathan’s Wedding featured on Style Me Pretty!

Posted by Holly-Kate

We could not be more excited!!! We love Style Me Pretty, HUGE huge fans, and were so thrilled that they selected one of our Weddings to be featured on their Blog this week. See the feature here on Style Me Pretty.

Tiffany & Jonathan met in College at Stanford University in a swing dance group. When I met with them, Tiffany was in the middle of Law School and Jonathan just got accepted into a Master’s Program. They have lived in 4 different places in the last 4 years, they will be moving this Fall to allow for Jonathan to start school.

They got engaged on New Years. Jonathan created a children’s storybook about a turtle searching for the right stone for a ring for his special turtle, Tiffany. It is the cutest book that I have ever seen. Jonathan put so much thought and time into the details of the book. Of course, he used this book to propose to Tiffany!

A little romance in a Rehearsal & Private Dinner at the Walrus and the Carpenter

Posted by Holly-Kate

One of Theresa & Zach’s favorite restaurants would be the Walrus and the Carpenter located in the heart of Ballard in Seattle. In fact, they celebrated their engagement at this exact restaurant, after Zach asked Theresa to be his wife.

It was one of the most important elements to their wedding weekend – “let’s book the Walrus for a private Rehearsal Dinner with all of our closest friends & family”. So, we did it – We booked the Walrus and the Carpenter for a private dinner for all of their out of town guests, which turned out to be 60 or so people. We started with their most popular & well known dishes, it was an evening of celebration & toasting to the wedding celebration.

the Walrus and the Carpenter

the Walrus and the Carpenter

I love it when couples bring their photographer to the rehearsal dinner and would highly recommend this! It is a great time to capture your family & friends, prior to the wedding day. Maurice Labrecque, of Maurice Photo, was there to capture the evening and also the wedding. Thank you Maurice for providing these wonderful pictures for us to share -

In the basement of the Walrus and the Carpenter, is a location called The Cellar. We stepped downstairs for a small and private rehearsal, while the guests enjoyed another round of delicious food and wine. The rehearsal was true to Theresa & Zach in style and desire, unique and one-of-a-kind, something that had never been done before! The Cellar is an earthy dark and more than romantic location, it was a rehearsal that I will never forget. Here are some of my most favorite pictures from one of the most romantic rehearsals that I have ever been a part of -

The owners and chef, Jeremy Price and Renee Erickson, at the Walrus and the Carpenter were so hospitable. They were able to accommodate our large group while keeping everyone anticipating the next course that would be served. I would highly recommend this location for a small and private dinner. Here is a short list of the items that were created for Theresa & Zach:

First Course

baywater sweets oysters, sauteed medjool dates, roasted almonds & marinated picholine olives

kurtwood dinah’s & yarmuth farms nonna capra

Second Course

billy’s beefsteak tomatoes, zucchini salad, house cured sockeye salmon

steak tartare

Third Course

pardon peppers, oil poached oregon albacore tuna, roasted lamb

Fourth Course
